Review Final Exam 2nd Semester PreAP 2009-10 SOLUTIONS.doc | pdf format
*note: the exact answer to #8 is 5/3
This is that last new section of the year for Pre-AP Algebra II! You may disregard the book assignment for this section, and focus on this mini-packet. However if you need reference, this material is covered in section 13-3 of the textbook.
Remember - the chapter 11.6 - 12 test is on Tuesday, May 18. The unit circle will NOT be on this test; however, it will be on the final exam.
- 13_03_Unit Circle Practice.pdf - due on Thursday, May 20
We will be getting these in class next week, but if you need it earlier:
Please note: this review is REQUIRED EVEN IF YOU ARE EXEMPTING THE FINAL EXAM!!!
(Yes, really. No exceptions).
Here are the last 2 reviews of the year! The last major test over 11.6 - 12 is this Friday, and that leaves the final exam (note that we may learn the unit circle in between).
Please note that the final exam review is required even if you plan on exempting the final (you must prove that you understand the material before moving on from this course).

Assignments for Chapter 11 (these will be added/adjusted as we go):
Due to some unforseen complications arising from the TAKS schedule, we have decided to adjust the schedule for the coming weeks. Of note, the last major exam over Chapter 11.6 - 12 is now scheduled for May 13/14 (Thursday/Friday).
On May 19/20, all Algebra II classes on campus will be taking the Algebra II End-Of-Course Exam. Previously, there was a unit circle test scheduled for this date, so the calendar has been adjusted to reflect this development. There will be no unit circle test on May 19/20 - however we still plan on teaching the unit circle, and it may appear on the final exam/final review.

The percentages for the major tests/projects have been adjusted accordingly:
- Conic Sections Test: 25% --> 30%
- Conics Project: 10% (no change)
- Sequences/Series Test: 25% --> 30%
These three major grades will still sum to 70% of the six weeks average.
